The sea is directly in front of you and you will enjoy spectacular views at all times.
Jump into the fresh water pool or take a swim from the platform at sea level. Let yourself be picked up by a boat for tours along the coast.

Two Big Terraces
There are two big terraces and a roofed loggia, in total about 240 m² (2400 ft²). This allows each individual to find his or her own “refuge”.
From the parking place you reach the villa by walking down a few steps, passing a small garden – then you are on the upper, the hibiscus – terrace, with a marble table and two hanging chairs, perfect for reading your favourite book. From here you can enter the house and walk down to the living area, which is one floor down.
Main Terrace
From the main terrace in front of the villa you have a spectacular view of the sea and the coast with the ancient tower “Torre a Mare” which was built in the 14th century.
The large main terrace has a dining table and a lounge area, which are both protected by a roof. Deck chairs invite you to take a sunbath. There is also an outdoor shower
The Loggia
The loggia is positioned in front of the living room like an eagle’s nest. We like to have here breakfast or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening, listening to the sea, observing the lights of Praiano and sharing the adventures of the day. Very romantic! As the loggia is roofed you can even stay outside when it rains.
In the morning you can see the fishermen from the nearby Marina di Praia casting their nets to get the catch of the day. Seagulls roam the coast and up in the rocks hawks are looking for their prey. Watch how the colours of the sea change from turquoise close to the beach to dark blue in the deeper water.
Freshwater Swimming Pool
Located on the same level as the main terrace, but separated by a wall of plants there is the swimming pool (10 x 3.5 m, 32 x 11 ft.). It is long enough to swim properly.
The purification of the water is be based on salt instead of adding chlorine. Salt water pools produce softer-feeling water and are much gentler on the eyes and skin. There is no chlorine smell anymore. As the salt concentration in the pool is far lower than the sea water you do not taste the salt in the water.

Private Platform By The Sea
A paved path under lemon trees leads you down to sea level. There are two private platforms with deck chairs; one has a sunroof, the other has a fresh water shower.
Swimming in the sea in front of Villa la Madonnina is like swimming in a huge amphitheatre surrounded by high cliffs.
If you enjoy snorkeling you will be able to see a great variety of Mediterranean fish.
The access to the parking area as well as to the pool and the sea platform is limited to the two villas on the gated property.
A private separate access to each villa preserves the secluded environment.
